I am going through the team match process currently. I’m very interested in Ads org and know that there are teams from these org in Seattle/Kirkland, however none of them reached so far. Is it because they only hire internally? My recruiter said that he reached out to the org, but did not hear anything yet. Should I just wait?#google

Ads and search are specifically toughest
As soon as I opened myself to Mountain View, I suddenly had 5 team match meetings scheduled the next day.
Fortunately, I matched with one that had a sister team in Seattle, and I was approved to work out of Seattle after all! But I wouldn’t expect that to be the norm. Many managers still want co-located employees.
I am in L3 team match as well. Matched to 2 teams in GCP and Gsuite.
No teams in Ads, YT, Maps gave me a call back
Don't really wanna go into gcp team thinking I will do internal transfer because I will be stuck with same team for 1 year and then transfer as an L3 and reset my promo
