I am not a board member, but if I buy and sell stocks during my tenure at the company, can it be considered inside trading? How about my stock options that I pick the best day to sell it?

There are blackout periods for employees, look into your company’s policy regarding stocks.

    • If you are not an "insider", you might not even be restricted by blackout dates, but that could be company specific. But either way, you cannot trade if you are privy to material non public information....

It is company specific. At Uber it’s very strict, at other companies I’ve been it’s been much more relaxed.

Contact your HR to see of you are considered insider. Most likely not. So, you can trade happily
