I have an offer from Palo Alto Networks for Senior Software Engineer . But I am feeling like I am being lowballed here. Can anyone please share the salary expectations.How much should actually I ask for?

YOE: 1.5 yrs

Current TC: 130k base
Palo Alto TC: 145k base + 25 k rsu for 4 years + no sign on bonus and 12 percent bonus every year.

    Palo Alto networks have stopped sign on bonus due to a new policy,

    In my opinion the offer is good for 1.5 years experience. Take it. You can try to negotiate more RSU

      But my only questions is can I increase my base because its just 15k difference from the current TC. I don’t expect them to pay so much more but atleast a 30k-40k difference from my current salary else what is the whole point of putting in hours of study and getting nowhere. Do you suggest anything about the base pay?

      You won't be able to negotiate much more in terms of base comp - maybe RSUs, but don't be greedy -- the offer could be rescinded.

      Unless you have an amazing offer from another company, asking for that big of a bump is not a good idea at this point.

    You can't become a true Senior SWE with the amount of experience you have. They are trying to feed your ego with a truly lowball offer.

    I like PANW as a company, but even I would pass on this unless I had no other option.

      My recruiter is willing to negotiate I suppose but I am not sure of how much to ask for the base but it seems really low since its just a 15k difference from my current TC.

      Yes, but I don't see them budging much w/r/t comp because you really aren't a Senior SWE no matter what you think you are.

      Maybe you can get more RSUs or something, but I don't think you have much to negotiate with unless you have multiple significantly higher offers at relevant companies.
