(cross posted in Apple forum)
Feeling burned out and bored after almost 8 years in Apple. As a new parent don't like to return to office in September given the heavy handed approach the company is taking.
My wife is an SWE and managed to LC her way from her existing company to a place offering TC bump and WFH flexibility, while as an EE, I seem to struggle to find places matching my skillset and Apple TC, not even considering WFH flexibility.
What are some options before me? My work doesn't really need me to be in the office as I work on simulations/architecture and not actually prototypes. Are any companies open to work flexibility for hardware? Although it seems other companies (even large ones like G/FB) have much smaller HW teams and would need even bigger onsite presence? Or should I just try to LC my way into a software role (although I doubt anyone would match my Apple TC as I'm essentially a new grad there).
TC: 300k (nominally, but 420k+ for 21/22 due to AAPL apperication). ICT4, YOE8
