Why do I need to mail my resume for this job?

https://ntfyjobs-microsoft.icims.com/jobs/28093/software-engineer/job?mode=view&mobile=false&width=1187&height=500&bga=true&needsRedirect=false&jan1offset=-480&jun1offset=-420&iis=Job+Board&iisn=LinkedIn

If this is for someone’s perm application, this is not fair and should be reported to USCIS. That’s not how a job opening should be advertised.

  • This isn’t a legitimate Microsoft website. You should use careers.microsoft.com

Not a troll. Seems like supervised recruitment. I put my thoughts in separate comment

This is not a normal perm advertisement. PO Box 56625 is for Department of Labor. My hypothesis is that Microsoft job were selected for supervised recruitment. Supervised recruitment means DOL gets involved. These resumes are being sent to DOL. The officer will review it first and then forward it to MSFT.
MSFT is doing the right thing here.

  • So someone created that link to throw whack at Microsoft that Microsoft is helping someone's PERM. Is that you OP? Are you that jobless. No wonder Docusign is where it is right now

There is no helping. The Law requires resumes to go by mail to department of labor in supervised recruitment
