How to ask an engineering manager for growth opportunies?
My manager is super empathetic and I trust them a lot. I would like to broaden my technical skills and I mentioned to them that I'd like opportunities to solve a more diverse set of problems. My team's roadmap as it stands doesn't lend itself to the types of engineering challenges I'd like exposure to, but some of the other teams are doing interesting work. I'd like to be flexible and team-oriented and do my best work for this current team. But if I continue to feel like I'm not growing, when is a good time to revisit the conversation with my manager about finding new challenges for me? This is my first job and I don't know how to express my thoughts without coming across as entitled and selfish. How did you approach this as a fairly new grad? What worked well and ehat would you have done differently?

For growth, technically, there are lot if forums outside of work.
For career growth, ask ur current manager for help. He might figure out a way....
Good luck
