Does it look bad to your employer if you have the #opentowork frame on your LinkedIn profile picture?

Title says all. I want to use it but I'm afraid others in my company will take it the wrong way.

As a manager I consider this to be one of the most unprofessional things that someone can do. It doesnโ€™t look good at all. Have the basic professionalism to do job search bit more discreetly

OP, you can hide the LI gold badge. As long as you have it set to โ€œopen to workโ€ having the frame on your profile picture isnโ€™t going to make a much of a difference other than letting your connections know youโ€™re looking.

Hide the gold badge if you can. If you have it enabled it could mean so many things. To me itโ€™s not as glaring as open to work badge.

I think it is not visible to the people of your current company.

I mean you could just let the recruiters know that you are open to work (which may not be visible to current employer recruiters) instead of using the opentowork badge.

@fnRp26 you can write a note saying not looking for contract roles. May eliminate some of the agency recruiters.
