It seems the first interview for Uber 5a Software engineer position is a ‘Business Phone Screen’.
The prep guide provided says it’s for you to talk about skills and experience - has anyone had one of these before?
Most interview experiences I could find online say the initial is a leetcode style interview. But the description makes it sound like this might be different.
Any info and thoughts welcome!

I do lots of these interviews.
It’s always focused on 5 areas and how well you fit based on your experience and answers.
The on site includes systems design, coding,
Etc.
Most of the time the recruiters aren’t very informed on the roles themselves or the processes. Just FYI.
Business call -> phone/screener interview -> onsite interview
Does that sound right?
He was a bit confused about the next step though and said it would be a Business Phone Screen and involve ‘a white board, a problem where I’m expected to verify requirements and come up with working code which covered edge cases too’.
Also he said after this would be the onsite.
Any thoughts?
