I have been working non stop through all of this, my job does not require my physical presence in the work place.

prior to Covid19 certain levels of Management (mostly the older ones), still think people should work primarily from the office.

my team and I have proven consistently we do not lose focus, or tempo, or let work slip when working remote.

and 2 hours a day on the train is time I will never get back. I hope this will open some people's eyes.

Just wish more employers would open up remote work since everybody is wfh for the foreseeable future. I don't want to move to the valley.

I'm on the other side of this, but purely in the context of my own personal preference; I hate working from home. I'm able to motivate myself much more by going into the office and having that physical separation from home and proximity to coworkers. I like to communicate face-to-face more than over Zoom, and I enjoy the portions of my job that involve working hands-on with real hardware more than coding.

That said, I have absolutely no problem with other people continuing to WFH on a more regular basis and I hope that companies will be more flexible moving forward.
