Do Recruiters not read LinkedIn profiles/resumes ?
Dear Recruiters, I’m legitimately curious about what the thought process is here to waste energy and time and send an email about this type of position to whom it isn’t even relevant.
For context, I’m a senior dev with over 10 years of experience and almost all of it was in MSFT. This is just an example (and their person isn’t unique in this), and for instance sending “cold call” emails about needing a dev with experience with JavaScript, web development or Python etc., to someone whose profile clearly mentions they only work in native code and in the backend.
If dev LinkedIn profiles are unclear, what would help you understand who matches the spec you have ? Not judging but asking if there is something we can change or add on our profiles that might help save everyone’s time
