On Blind, everyone talks about how bad Amazon is in terms of culture and WLB. That needs no introduction.
However, been following a few posts on Blind pertaining to Microsoft as well, reading a lot of the same info that people on Blind put down Amazon for. Overbearing managers, Bad WLB, Not good culture.
Is this true? Microsoft slowly turning into Amazon?

Satya stopped it.
I work there. Do you?
Just don’t join Azure and your fine.
Besides if bad WLB existed at MSFT why would anyone in their right mind join?
MSFT pays less than AMZN.
URA quota must be met.

You can imagine Azure is the busiest. Any infra that support such services will be busy. For instance, Office has excellent WLB but their 365 server side won’t. Bing org used to be one of the worst but they give you fastest promotion and better career opportunities outside MSFT. Some Azure teams gave great career especially Azure Storage or Cosmos DB.
Worst WLB is just launched popular products. They are half baked but used by many users. The first 3-5 years will be the toughest.
