I had a break for over 4 years . I started study Computer Science for a year and finished EPI , 200 LC , online courses . Also recently , I finished ML course on coursera for Andrew. Can I land a job as ML engineer soon ? Suggested companies ? Any materials or other topics , I should study to support my career ? TC~0 Thanks guys ,
I am working on the projects of the course now. Also , I will create a ML app that I love in weeks. Do you have any suggestions for a project?
OP: “tell me what I love” 🙄
Give me your training set and I will tell you ;)
If you want to further put some effort. Complete the Udacity nano degree. I heard it is worth it.
Online courses have zero value to the employer, as does your LC. If it's not a degree or a widely accepted certification - you might score a junior job if you get lucky and have impressive personal projects related to the work or have contributed significantly to an open source project the company relies on Just from my experience of course. Over only seen a couple people out of hundreds list things like comptia certs of udemy or coursera type stuff and zero of them were given offers because theres almost an endless pool of grads or experienced people out there
That plus all the Wikipedia pages related to that ml course. And its sublinks. Should take another 20 hours, but that should be enough
Start a blog and open source your github with some really strong projects. It might still not be enough but will at least get you the exposure you need.
To answer your question we'll need to assess your current skills over coding, ML fundamentals and project experience. ML interviews definitely can be practiced. I can help with mock interviews and interview prep which I can dive into details. Just DM me. For context I recently went through ML interviews and got L5 offer with $400k+ TC plus signon from FANG
Jeez way to go on that one
Where do u live?

Do you have personal projects to show for or did you just read the coursera tutorial like every applicant?
