So I joined in the last three months. Stock now sits at $240 after earnings. I have 500k/4 year in RSU.

Can someone explain in layman terms how does this affect me after 1 year and how many units I will get with an example? Will I get 125k in first year? Thank you and good day.

Shares worth of 500K will be awarded on the day you joined. Let's call this X..

X/4 worth of shares will be vested in year 1, at the going rate which need not be 125K.

You could have easily googled this. And you didn't share your TC.

Grant date is the day you were granted the RSU, not the vesting date. What was the price when you got the RSUs? It's usually after you start working or during quarterly board meetings.

I think you'll get about 500 shares each yr. (500K/250/4). Read the exact contract though.
