The quality of workers I’ve come across from non FAANG were far more empathetic, grounded, mature. FAANG Audience seem to be revolves around TC only and they even judge other humans based on that. There’s so much to world and life

Nothing against FAANG, but I’ve known few people personally and I’m not enticed by that. Just curious kind of posting

  • Interesting. I find folks from unknown companies to be more salty and judgmental. They also seem to have the unrooted high moral ground

Most of faang workers are idiots who make the org and themselves miserable as they have no talent or personality to make workplace fun. Only consolation is TC

    Human nature unfortunately.

It’s not just about your workplace. How many people when their in college do a dick measuring contest with their universities ranking?

People compare themselves against others ALL the time. And I mean ALL the time. It’s built into our genetic code. Every animal in existence does this.

It’s all part of the alpha superiority complex that’s rooted into who gets to propitiate their gene pool.

Working at a high value, high reward company is a means of showing your worth to others and increasing your social ranking and then your theoretical ability to attract a higher level mate.

Like as not we’re all still animals and all still have the same base instincts.

Some people are just better at hiding those instincts.
