Is VMware a good company to work for? Also what's the outside perception? Are their employees good hires? Anticipating an offer next week for a PM director role. YoE: 12 TC: 0 (took an 18 months hiatus)
Is the 18 month hiatus due to a non-compete?
Nope just some "return to sanity" time
Yes, although layoffs are a routine
A lot of people in vmw act like we're the only company that lays off yearly lmao.
Are the layoffs based on performance of the individuals? Bottom 10%? Or the business unit?
They hire some attractive hottie alright
No one cares about your boner
VMware is the most awful company, we currently have lot of VMware folks at red hat who we are trying to get rid of but failing miserably! None who come from that company have any skills whatsoever.
Its a decent company overall!
What's the bonus structure like?
Your recruiter should be able to share your targeted annual bonus. In the past few years we have usually gotten more than the target.
No it’s not. Especially after Dell takeover they have been very stingy about raises
I know some hot gals that work there
Literally no one cares about your boner
