Has anyone done interview kickstart?

Does anyone know if it is worth it ?

Amazon 02468 Apr 3, 2018

Not sure if it’s worth it but I heard they’re charging $8K which I think is way too much.

Vistaprint Gefsjaw Apr 3, 2018

Not true. I just had my pre-signup call with one of the cofounders, it is 5k total for algo + system design + behavioral. You can probably pick and choose, but I didn't ask.

Not worth. Teachers are bad. They don’t know how to teach. Too many thick accents. Mock interviews were promise but they were limited to late evenings. Wtf!!!

Well he went to learn English no wonder it did not work for whoever this person is

This is strange. They asked $7200 from me. After much deliberation when I finally decided to go for it they stopped responding. So looks like 1. They quote different price to different people. 2. They somehow decide who is qualified to do their course and who is not, based on an introductory call?

Probably not a good idea to ask on an anonymous platform where there is no way to tell who is who and has what experience. Plus there will be trolls, fake posts from people who think they compete with us, people with personal grudges and from those who have just personal opinions. Talk to us if you haven't already. Read reviews. Ask for real alum connections. Make your own judgment call. We have been around for 4 years, training 1000+ software engineers all across US. Graduates have had multiple offers at all top companies from entry level to principal engineering/management. We may not be perfect for everyone, but there is a good chance that we are more than worth it for your personal situation. (Btw - teachers and mock interviewers are all full time engineers at top companies and hence the entire thing runs in evenings and weekends. And the current cost is $5250 for everyone). Happy to continue on email: soham@interviewkickstart.com .

It's driving me crazy

Cisco Nirvanaa Apr 3, 2018

@Soham. 5250? Why did u ask me $7200 then?

Cisco Nirvanaa Apr 3, 2018

Its not a personal grudge, but people can talk and will know how much you ask whom.

Too expensive when you have geek for geeks, hackerrank, leetcode which are all free. After all it depends upon hardwork, memory, iq and motivation. These boot camps are just money minting policies. You can judge by getting in touch with someone who attended and view a couple of recordings/video. For me it was average definitely not worth paying 5k. Both content and material quality was sub par. I have nothing against interview kickstart. They are doing their business. There might be a classroom like environment which can push you to work. But question is it worth the price? Up to you to decide .

Thanks. This is insightful.

HealthNow Plateaux Apr 3, 2018

$5250, and they won't even return the whole thing if it doesn't work... They only refund half.

Cisco archvile Apr 3, 2018

Look and read their contract very carefully to get unpleasant surprises 😀. Nope, they won’t return even half

Really? They claim they return half.

Airbnb ✌🏻✌🏼✌🏽✌ Apr 7, 2018

Look up Outco, they're less than half the price and have a remote track that's only $500

Tesla LEETCODER May 13, 2018

5000$ not 500

Airbnb Spinner May 13, 2018

The in-person sessions are 5k but the remote is a lot cheaper
