Before that has been v hit and miss.
I generally buy Puts. I'm also a bit risk averse so tend to sell quickly when I make a profit. Would've made a killing once when I bought Lyft Puts if I had held them just two more days. But sold after 50% ROI.
At least half a dozen times my Puts have expired worthless.
In general have made more money than I have lost.
Trading options is akin to gambling.
Unless you have inside information.
All these retail traders are trading off public information. vs professionals on wall st who have way more resources at their disposal. Guess who wins in the end?
