My Background is still in progress and will be completed by first week of January and I think start date will be by end of January or first week of Feb.
I will receive my Bonus and RSUs from T-Mobile by end of Feb 2020 and I don’t want to lose it and I want to have my start date to be in first week of March 2020. I am kind of reluctant to ask the hiring manager if start date in first week of March will work or not as it is away by a month and half from ideal start date and I know hiring team needs me to start as soon as possible. I don’t want to sound like I am making an unreasonable request.
Should I ask the recruiter or hiring manager about the same?

People understand that bonus and RSUs are a sizable chunk. A reasonable company and HM should oblige.
You can also negotiate on the sign on bonus if they want to hire you early.
