Hi all, If I’m interviewing with Facebook for a second time, is my feedback from the first time visible to the interviewers? Will it play a role in my results? I Interviewed for a Dev position back in 2012.
Interviewer can see your previous results, but that typically doesn’t impact the outcome of your interview result.
They definitely can see your previous round. I’m curious if anyone knows if it can impact you in this way: my recruiter said I crushed the sql interview the first time around (and I found it to be pretty easy). My second attempt I thought my sql question was pretty tough. Would they give a harder question because my first attempt was easy?
Don’t think too much. Just give your best shot
The interviewers don’t see the previous feedback until after they submit their feeeback. However, all feedback may be considered during debrief. So long as you’ve improved on past issues, you’ll be fine.
This isn’t true. I’m 100% sure they do see the feedback
Nope. We can't see feedback
Use a different email address on your resume when submitting your resume for a second time. It’s harder to track for a duplicate. (Pro tip)
I think what matters is how good you are today. Doesn’t matter what you did in the interview few years ago!

Chances of meta clearing E5 with screwing up one coding one round and acing all other
Yes and yes
Dang that sucks
It's not necessarily negative. If you show that you improved a lot, it can only be good for you. And if you didn't improve, you wouldn't pass the interview anyway. I can't imagine an interviewer would say something like "You solved the problem really well this time around, but your first interview was pretty bad, so I can't hire you". I don't see how them having access to that information can negatively affect the outcome for you.
