1. On average, how long does it take to walk from one side of MTV campus to another? Is it common to have meetings that require you to have a car inside campus. I’m commuting.
2. What laptops do engineers normally use. The pixel book seems really light weight but I’m more used to a MacBook.
3. I know you aren’t supposed to store local code in your laptop. Do we get a session during orientation to set up our dev environment?
4. How is the food like, really?

2. Windows
3. No, they hired you because you're smart. Go figure your shit.
4. No free food any more
Even Sundar Pichai wouldn't ask these questions before he joined.
1. The campus in MTV is *large*. You’d likely take a bike if you need to go from one side to the other. Luckily Google has free bikes :)
If you need to, we also have our internal « uber » fleet (gRide) to go from one building to another (I only used it to reach other campuses).
Finally, it is not common to have meetings that require to travel, and in all cases you can join through video call.
2. You can go with the pixel and exchange it the first month if you don’t like it.
3. It is largely covered during orientation (there is a 3h session just for this)
4. Food is « ok », but that is a highly subjective question. Depending on your culture it may or may not live up to you expectations.
That said I appreciate how furnished the microkitchens are!
