Looking for positions that will let me go back to more of a developer role. Have a decade of security experience and currently focusing on DevSecOps. Problem is, it's all policy and procedure work with container and code scanning thrown in.
I really want to get back into programming that can use my security experience as well, and ideally hand on to make the job more fulfilling. Right now it's limited to GitLab security automation and vulnerability management.
Does anyone have ideas on what roles to search for or organizations that would give an out of practice programmer a shot, or if I should be building a portfolio to get up to speed?
