I just went through the full loop at Google, but I am wondering if I even still want the job if I am offered it. All the engineers I spoke to said that 95% of the code they work in is still in Angular 1. The one engineer said their team spent 3 years switching from Angular 1 to Angular 2.
Why would anyone want to work in this codebase? Are people going to work at Google to meet others hoping to get out to an early startup? It is really confusing to me why anyone would want to do Angular 1 ever.

Sour grapes.
I'm just pointing out that making life decisions based on what looks good on a resume is perhaps not the wisest.
