Hey, blind! I've been grinding like crazy and finally feel confident enough to interview, but I need to get my resume noticed first. A little about me: I solved 342 LC problems as of today and plan to get to 400 in about two weeks. I also read most of EPI, have a portfolio with a few projects, briefly attended top 10 CS university (can explain it better to referrer), have internship experience and a strong resume. Would appreciate any referrals to FAANG, Unicorns or any other companies that sponsor H1B. Open to any major city in the US (especially NYC), but also to Vancouver, Toronto and London locations. This is my repher.me profile if it helps: https://repher.me/r/-M17_CSFMdz18YreD5My If anyone can offer a hand, I would be forever in your debt. #facebook #amazon #google #twosigma #apple #microsoft #uber #airbnb #stripe #pinterest #twitter #linkedin #citadel #womenintech
DM me if you’re interested in a referral!
Ok! Thanks!
Are you located in U.S. ? Using H1B means you have to get the offers prior to the lottery day every year, which is April 1st. Is OPT an option?
I am not in the U.S. I know I'm pressed for time and it's a long shot right now, that's why I'm open to Canada and Europe locations. Maybe I can interview with a company that doesn't have a long hiring process or can attend a hiring event.
You my friend are very late You should have done this in November December. Plus most companies won’t bother sponsoring new grads honestly... There are enough locals.
I can refer you to Amazon Toronto, if you wanna DM me. I can also provide insights into the interview process, I've interviewed about 40 people for L4 and L5 roles so far. How many YOE? I don't think anyone's gonna care how many LC you did to be honest, but it will help you get through the interviews. If you're over 2 YOE you'll have to come in at L5, which'll include a system design interview, and you'll need to have examples for leadership principle questions.
How did the job hunt go?
Use https://poncho.app
Ok. I’ll try that too. Thanks!
