Completed all the interviews, recruiter called to negotiate TC and below are the verbal numbers pending approvals Base: 175K RSU: 100k vesting over 4 years Bonus: 5% TC: 208K YOE: 10 Role: Sr Engineer Location: remote, I am located in LCOL bordering California 😅 Current TC: Base: 132K Bonus: 20% TC: 158K Recruiter mentioned I am maxing out for this role, TBH the TC is high for my location, what are your thoughts? UPDATE: RSU increased to 115K/4 years and joining bonus of 12k. I accepted the offer #Zendesk #compensation

I doubt there will be layoffson the ZD side, especially in engineering.

The recruiter sounded confident on working with these numbers. Do you think the comp team or HM will try to low ball ?
I know for a fact this isn't a low ball. Your base is higher than some staff engineers. I don't recall exactly the range for stock but I believe you are near the top there too. There really is no incentive for managers to low ball at Zendesk. A low-ball offer would be something like 140k with 40k RSUs

How was the coding round? Can you please tell me how difficult was it?
It’s a senior engineer role for tooling which doesn’t need coding. Hence I didn’t have a coding round but had in-depth technical rounds.
Dam I'm same level and earn half that in EMEA. 😞
