It seems if you've only worked 3 months at a company before leaving, you should not include it in your resume. what is the minimal amount of a working period that would be acceptable to include in your resume?

Does it change if that company is a FAANG company?

Please keep in mind that for the amount of time worked, if you don't put it on your resume, there would be a hole in employment during that time. (its easier to excuse a 3 month gap but maybe not a 6 month gap?)

@yuriy really? My recent offer says for their background check form to list everything and not leave gaps in history, so should I list that I was unemployed for those few months?

I am not sure about the wording on your specific form, but whatever you not list there will not be checked. Explicitly specifying that you were unemployed when you weren't would be providing false information and grounds for immediate termination upon discovery, though. At the same time, I don't see any problem with just omitting those 3 months you don't want to talk about.

Leave it off your resume, 3 months is going to raise too many questions. Just pretend it never happened.

If you put Amazon and it says 6months, then obviously PIPed out.

My last background check report from HireRight had a line saying “Currently Employed”.
That means if you don’t want to claim this short stint then you’d say you are unemployed for all those months?
