I currently work in a bank as a senior business analyst in mortgage backed securities and want to switch over to product manager in a tech firm. Any suggestions on how the product manager interviews are conducted and if its easy for a person from capital markets to switch over to tech? Any help/guidance is highly appreciated.

OP, what are your goals trying to go into tech? People pay a premium for Domain knowledge in capital markets and tech R&D is pretty good if you can swing to the buy side. To be a good product manager, you will need that domain knowledge in any industry.
Btw, my background is from high tech (10 years) to capital markets (10 years).
