As some may already know Apple has yearly performance reviews that are based on feedback from your coworkers and direct manager. Some managers consider coworkers feedback heavily while other managers use their own judgement when it comes to giving feedback and awarding compensation.
I think the system is somewhat flawed because some coworkers are biased and will reward those who fit into their ‘clique’ and punish those who do not bow down to them.
Are there any top companies in the tech industry that have completely done away with the peer review system?
