Assuming TC is roughly equal (aside from bonuses @ Epic vs RSUs @ Unity), which has the better culture / benefits / fulfilling work? Anyone worked for both?

  • Epic has better benefits and pay, similar work fulfillment, but culture is very team dependent, with some have good culture and others decidely worse than Unity.

    Epic is very insular. Some have described it as cult like. Promotion is a political game. It's a good first job, and a 'good enough' job if you're killing time but not an inspiring place to grow a career at all. Pay attitudes are similar to others like Apple - employees don't need more money, they are supposed to feel they were privileged to be allowed in the door at Epic.
