I am going to have onsite with Nordstrom next week. I have no knowledge on what to expect and the level of difficulty of questions. The role is software engineer 1. Any help is much appreciated
LInR08, why spread rumors? Op, its typical ds, algo, problem solving - might be a basic design round for se1
Did you get an offer, Op?
Yes, I got the offer
So? How was it? Are you still there? Impressions?
OP, can you please share your experience? I have phone interview soon. Thanks.
You do know they’re on the verge of a bankruptcy right?
What? I need to return my order asap then
@LlnR08, with your very little to no idea, let me give you some statistics here: 1. Nordstrom opened one of their biggest store in NYC last week. A 7 storey building with State of the Art facility. 2. This did cost Nordstrom $500M and a 7 year planned work. 3. Thing to note: This is their own Building and not on lease or rent with tallest residential building in NYC. It could have been taller than WT1; but, due to politics, that wasn't approved. 4. The first day sale was more than $50M in this store. 5. They also opened a State of the Art Men's store just 18 months ago in NYC. 6. The choices you get at any Nordstrom store is hard to find anywhere else making Nordstrom one of its kind. 7. The Off Price Sale (Nordstrom Rack) has already crossed $1B in profit last year along with higher sales this year. These are all public info. Go and check yourself. Stop spreading fake news and rumors.
