H1B transfer application was filed by BAL on April 8th. They assured me receipt will take 2-3 business days and I can start by the 20th of April. We have not received receipt notice yet. I quit my previous job on their assurance and now left waiting till we get the receipt.
I called USCIS today, they said it will take 30 days.
I am very worried. How long has it been taking to receive receipt notices from USCIS after March 20? #h1b
UPDATE1: Received receipt notice from lawyers on 4/23. The date on the receipt notice is 4/9. I wonder what took so long for the receipt to be mailed to the lawyers. BAL attorney says USCIS has stopped sending out email receipts and is taking 1-2 weeks to mail the hard copy instead.
UPDATE 2: Received H1B approval notice on 4/23 - regular processing
