I see ‘TC’ quite often and as most people refer to it as including: Base Salary + Restricted Stock Units + Bonus
My understanding of total comp is just that - TOTAL COMPENSATION THE COMPANY SPENDS ON YOU which includes:
Base Salary + RSU + Bonus + Paid Time Off + Holiday Pay + Sick Pay + Benefits (Med/Vision/Dental) + 401k Match
There is a significant difference in the calculation.
I’d like your feedback and clarifications.

E.g. if I get an offer like 150k base, 200k stock / 4 years, and 100k signing bonus, would this be 225k Tc (4 year average) or 300k tc (first year)?
Perks and benefits are separate from compensation. If you care more about those than cold hard cash, you should discard all advice on this app
