Is it weird to join work outing of new team before starting

My start date at a new company is a month away. The manager of my new team reached out and invited me to their topgolf team building activity this weekend.. is it weird for me to go? I don’t really care for the outing itself but I’m thinking it could be a good chance to “interview” the team to see how they are for any red flags before I start.

Otherwise the risk is that I haven’t put in my 2 weeks notice at my current job yet since I’m waiting for the company bonus to be paid out.. word travels and somebody on that team might know someone at my current company (not honda)
