Hi guy,
Just to know if with this US inflation is climbing, do IT companies start raising TC on offers? :)

This inflation stuff is a bit BS. We’ve never had a time in which we’ve had to shut down manufacturing, affecting supply. Prices should stabilize once everything is up and running

Sigh.. and right on cue https://www.wsj.com/articles/lumber-prices-are-falling-fast-turning-hoarders-into-sellers-11623749401?redirect=amp

Futures for July delivery ended Monday at $996.20 per thousand board feet, down 42% from the record of $1,711.20 reached in early May. Futures have declined 14 of the past 15 trading days, the last two by the most allowed by exchange rules.

Cash lumber prices are also crashing. Pricing service Random Lengths said Friday that its framing composite index, which tracks on-the-spot sales, dropped $122 to $1,324, its biggest ever weekly decline. The pullback came just six weeks after the index rose $124 during the first week of May, its most on record. Random Lengths described a chaotic rout in which sawmill managers struggled to provide customers with price quotes.

Wow who woulda thought? Getting manufacturing up and people going back to work (producers) would stabilize prices 🧐

Prices of some products and services are down because either people already had enough of them before or people have better things to spend on.

Prices of one product has reduced by 5% but the prices of other products has gone up by 10%
Look at the average inflation trends.

And inflation might not reflect instantly on all products simultaneously.

You have your cause and effect mixed up. Inflation is rising bc tech salaries or wages in general are rising
