Had onsite interview for PM role at FB last week. I am currently at L6 @amazon with 10 years PM experience. Recruiter emailed that he is calling tomorrow to talk. If all goes well, what type of questions expect from recruiter? Specially any questions around current CTC or new CTC?

You need not disclose your current comp to the recruiter as per the new laws in California.

You definitely need to disclose your current CTC on Blind though. It’s the law!

What to expect in package @FB for L4 or L5 levels which are comparable to L6 at amazon for PM?

What if I sort of did in the very first phone conversation with hr. How do I handle it now? I just told I roughly make xyz amount with rsus excluding. I wasn’t prepared to give HR a number and scare them away

Respond with the traditional "for respect for my current employer I would prefer not to disclose my current salary"

    If questioned around expected salary:
" I'm really interested in the role, comp wise I expect to be compensated on a "director" level" .

The key is to never be the first one to give a number

They can’t legally ask you for your current compensation. However they can ask you if you have numbers in mind for your next compensation
