Companies can go much more than 200k but negotiation is more around stocks than base. Base has more strict range than stocks. Why the love for base? What if you join deloitte with 200k base and no stocks vs Google with 160k base and 120k stocks and bonus?
I have a loop next week with them, do you know the equity structure and bonus? 13 YOE and interviewing for engineering manager if that changes anything
Hard to say exactly, Iβd guess it would be roughly 60/40 base/equity per year. Bonus was small/insignificant for me. Iβm more junior tho, so not sure
