Because of company matching, 401K is no brainer and a good starting point. Beyond that, there are a ton of options based on goals/risk appetite

Sure. Right after you explain your presumptive accusation that it was socialist.
You weave that comment in there on purpose- obviously to bash on open market capitalism. Therefore promoting socialist agendas and Economy controlled by government.
