AWS vs Bloomberg。both are NYC based
Aws offer: L5, 180 + 150/83 + 73 shares
TC would be 340/300 first two years then probably 280ish? I don’t think I would stay for more than 3 years if I join Aws
BBG: senior se, 270 tc plus 30 signon for first year
Background: 5 yoe with shitty bachelor, been working for no names before. To be completely honest I lend toward bbg cuz i want wlb and i don’t know if I can handle aws workload and don’t get pip within a year
Any advise would be super super appreciated

Bberg wlb tends to be on the good side. Of course, everything is team dependent but i work maybe about 10 hrs a week.
During my current job search, i had no trouble getting call backs from big tech companies (robinhood, google, etc) but also from big trading companies like HRT, Citadel / cit securities, etc.
If u dont want to risk wlb too much, i think id choose bberg while still making good money. You can always leetcode while being chill and hop if needed imo
