Was optional for me and stated as optional for phone screen by recruiter. That being said, it’s weird AF to not turn on video when interviewer is.

Yes but you can turn off if u see bandwidth issues during the call. Dont want to dress up? Worried about other stuff in the room? Still should be fine

I had a phone screen and It was a call instead. But if they give you a blue jeans link - then they expect video conference.
