Not a gamer and this will mostly be used for work, YouTube consumption etc. but would you get a 32inch 4K screen or get a 34inch ultra wide(3440x1440 I believe ). Part of me really wants an ultra wide, but the other part I’m of me feel like I’m missing out on screen quality by not getting a 4K. Budget ~600USD. Any recommendations in this budget?
I'm liking my 32 inch 4k
How is multi tasking, as in side by side with browser, excel, etc? Is 3 windows side by side too much? And is it too tall?
I keep 6 windows open generally. If there's an IDE, I give it 70% the screen space and that cuts it to down to 3 windows that are sufficiently large
34" UW for SWE tasks, for sure
Get two 32in 4ks like me
And long for a 58 inch UW
Buy an ultra wide if you have two necks
I would recommend the 5k2k 40" ultrawide.
I would….but way over budget
This is split.but I'd prefer the ultra wide screen
That reminds me, does microsoft provide a choice between 2x27 vs 1x34? I've never been to office and I'm going to start soon
I got 2x24
Same here. I had no choice thus I spent my own money buying another that I want.
also 1 for ultra wide unless you require high resolution for work like video editing and etc.
Most people down sample a 4k to 2k. I've heard the test appears a bit more crisp, but doesn't seem like it matters to me.
