How to get around to stop using DoorDash?

The convenience of having food show up on my doorstep is very nice to have.
However, it’s expensive after multiple orders due to tips (especially tipping $4 min to ensure you have a good order). Plus, prices are inflated so a $20 meal can easily become a $40 one.
For those who are busy, how do you plan your day to grab food or do you meal prep food? I have interviews at noon during “lunch”, constant work at office, studying. I actually get a real “break” after work finishes.
Please provide tips on eating with busy schedules.

Sometimes I sauté some veggies or meats separately and throw them in.
Another personal favorite of mine is dosa - I have the batter prepared in advance so it’s a 5 min job and I throw in some cheese, egg, sausage or veggies as filling. The fermented batter takes 10 mins of effort the previous day. Grind lentils and rice, ferment for a day (no starter needed), and viola.
