I got a Cisco offer. It is a remote position as advertised in LinkedIn and communicated by recruiter and HM. But in the offer letter it’s written you will start in our offsite xxxxx office. Not writing the office for anonymity. Is this normal practice or will they compel me to go to the office at a later date. Also how is a standard remote offer written?

When I started I was assigned a base office in a city 200 miles away, but in the same state, with no expectation that I have to go there.
If you are concerned, it’s always good to ask for clarification in an email for your records.
