My previous employer’s stocks are in Morgan Stanley. I also have old IRA and 401k’s in fidelity and Empowerment etc. can I transfer them all to Ameritrade (for no fees) ? It should not cause any stock sales or tax events. I want to consolidate all stocks, 401k, IRA into 1 account with lowest annual and transaction fees.

Yes you can transfer, most brokerages also have cash bonuses for transfer of non-retirement accounts to their platform.

There can be small fees (50$ ish) for transferring but you can negotiate with the new brokerage that you want them to refund you all the fees on both ends. They will happily do it.

Yes you can transfer. I just did a transfer from Bank of America (Merrill Edge) to M1 Finance. It took about a week and a half but all the shares transferred with no sells/buys/taxable events etc.
