I started working at JPMC recently (less than a week) and today I got an offer from Angi with a better TC and better technologies. Angi will start my H1B transfer soon. I want to know if there will be any hiccups during the transfer process since it's not even a month. JPMC wants me in office and Angi is a fully remote position. Current JPMC TC: 105K base + 8% performance bonus( As I was told. pff in my dreams) Angi TC: 125K base + 9% annual bonus + 40k RSU Need inputs on this. #Angi #jpmorganchase #angieslist #jpmc
Read the ANGI Glassdoor. Just laid off 1/5th of the engineers. I’d advise against
In JP things (especially related to immigration) are really really slow. That's cause the internal lawyers are overstretched (too few for the workforce) and external either dont have much intensive or who knows That could be a problem if you need to do something fast. Other than that - they'll do things by the book. I support the decision btw
Thank you for the feedback. I noticed the same thing during my transfer. It took over two months for my visa to get transferred. I got the offer on June 24th and started working on September 13th .
@OP, Is 40k rsu per year or over 4 years? I am also planning interview with Angi, can I dm you?
40k RSU over 4 years. Sure, DM me.
Angi has major culture issues and a toxic CEO since the merger. They also have an ancient codebase and lost a lot of tribal knowledge to attrition and random layoffs recently. Read the Glassdoor reviews, they are accurate.
@op which location of JP?
Did you join angi or jp?
OP did you join Angi?
How much do you like 100% remote?
I like being Remote. TBH, I enjoy being remote and getting the work done. Gives me more time to work on personal well being.
