I have been interviewing at Illumina since 2019 very seriously. And I keep failing to get past the video interviews or phone interviews. I went onsite last summer but failed to convert. Any process engineers from Illumina here who can help out/ give advice

  • What level are you applying for? Illumina interviews aren't super clear cut like a lot of FAANG ones, there a bunch of skilled candidates and a lot of it can boil down to personability as well as sheer luck (other candidates have experience that better matches the role, etc).

Also, out of curiosity, any particular reason you want to leave Intel?

Illumina is actually an awful company. But if you want in - the easiest way is through referrals.

Why do you say it's awful? Most of the people on the development side seem to really love it
