I joined Lululemon as a contractor 2 years ago and was converted to a FTE 1 year ago as a Software Engineer. My work is that of a Data Engineer here. I am being offered a promotion here but the pay increment I got was only 6%. Am I being cheated/hustled to keep me here by being given the carrot of promotion or is this an industry standard rate of increments? Should I just leave?
