How did this happen? (Meta Stock)
Salesforce stock ($CRM) reached an all-time high of $284 back in August 2020. Then, with the Slack acquisition news, it plummeted like a rock. Things looked extremely dire when it dropped all the way down to $201 in March. Everyone and their father was writing off CRM. Well, look at it now. I never stopped believing 📈✊ #personalfinance #investments #Salesforce #CRM #stocks
Why are you pumping your chest for a stock that is still 5% away from 52 week highs yet the SPY hit its 50+ high of the year….. This stock is worse performer than amazon
yeh, but look at the late August surge of 2020, it went bananas, so over a 2y period outperforms
meanwhile, every other stock at least doubled, including mega caps
Used to work at salesforce horrible stock for growth
It's an enterprise company whose stock has more than doubled in 5 years....
Congrats I left for a company who’s stock nearly doubled in a month
Because many large Microsoft-shops are moving to Slack due to Teams’ crappy architecture. Future is ultra-bright for Slack, more so with Salesforce’s aggressive Sales and CS machineries now behind them.
Salesforce will kill slack and bleed it dry just hope you don’t have to do a core integration
How do you know? Have you seen Mulesoft/Tableau sales numbers? They are at their historical peak. Don’t think only like an engineer, think like a businessman. Stock prices are driven by business prospects, not engineering. Look at Amazon.
Their P/E ratio is too high. The bull run is not sustainable.
What about Microsoft, Adobe
The P/E ratios are much better, check them out.
It will be 400 + in next 5 years for sure
1000 in 5yrs.
It will keep its 20-30 percent growth trajectory easily the next 10 years
It could be 1000 in fee years but what do I care with no refreshers.
Cool story bruh
They bought Slack? Why did it plummet?
Because they invested an enormous amount of money in a market with low barriers to entry and high competition that Microsoft decided to enter recently as well. Slack is not a money maker and many prefer Teams or one of the other chat apps.
I love slack, trying to convince my team to ditch Chime for the team huddle feature during meetings.
