Lots of people keep talking on Blind about Bay Area exodus and overall CA population decline. There are official data that proves this information is correct https://www.brookings.edu/research/u-s-population-growth-has-nearly-flatlined-new-census-data-shows/
Majority of population movement is to Texas, Florida, and Arizona.
But I also see people
- keep on calling it Hoax.
- Continue to invest in Bay Area after seeing the market up 20% yoy which is only because of supply crunch.
- Refer 2008 when Bay Area housing was not impacted. But forgot to see that there was also no population impact in 2008.
Personally, I would be really cautious to invest Millions of Dollars in a place which is going through a population decline.
