Hi all, I am a back-end Java developer with about 5 years of experience working in the financial services industry and now as a defense contractor. I tried interviewing last year at a few FAANG companies and was rejected due to a lack of preparation. Buckled down over the last 6 months and have solved over 500 leetcode problems. Seeking referrals: https://repher.me/r/-Lxr8C8VGobNfm2U3xOb Companies #google #facebook #uber #lyft #apple #adobe #linkedin #walmart as well as any other companies working on interesting problems. Looks like someone had a lot of free time on their hands.
Yeah, defense contractor
my internship consisted of 8 hours of leetcode a day
Wow!
Never count easy! But good job!
True, though honestly I've sometimes felt some easy questions were hard and some hard questions were easy. Good luck on your Google interview. Go crush it!
What was your preparation strategy? How many hours and questions did you do every day?
My preparation strategy was to spend about 2-3 hours per day (more on weekends) and solve a few problems on leetcode/work through EPI. I personally started with the top interview and top liked questions and then solved problems in categories I was weak in. I reviewed previous problems mostly through leetcode mocks and participated in or upsolve weekly leetcode contents. Currently working on systems design and behavioral prep now.
Thanks for telling us your strategy!
That's great! Feel free to dm for Twilio.

Question for the people, not OP - is a candidate more appealing if they say they’ve done 500 LC questions?
DM for Amazon
Wow.
