6 YoE. Is 500k TC @ Citadel likely? Hours be damned, I have a mortgage and private school tuition I need to pay. Assuming NYC office. No offer yet, but for this price, I will go above and beyond my limit.

Citadel is mostly in Chicago but you don’t need half a million to have a decent lifestyle in chi city so sf or nyc most likely
Not true. Large presence in both NY and Chicago. There were actually more hires in NYC in 2019 than Chicago and this trend will likely continue indefinitely.

Most likely. Depends on your role, but my new grad offer was 400k at a company in the quant space (for QR though), and I know Citadel would've been around there if I'd stuck it out.
