Anyone recommends any team to join and not to join at Microsoft? And why? Some common names I saw mentioned in Blind: Azure AI, X-box, Spartans, Azure Kubernete, Azure Linux, Office, Window, etc.

Good WLB but slow learning + incompetent coworkers + legacy systems -> Windows and Office
No idea what Spartans is.
How the hell could you generalize this?
There are great teams in azure with decent work life balance and there are great managers working for whom alone motivates you to go the extra mile.
Some teams might have bad on calls and others much better or none at all. Take your pick
Plus there are as many other teams which might be new services or run on stable tech and have decent work life balance.
At the same time, legacy isn't always boring. In fact building the latest and greatest on top of legacy systems, especially some of the most massive ones is one of best technical challenges of any one's career.

Azure AI (singularity)
